Taplow Court
Taplow Court is a large Victorian house in the village of Taplow in Buckinghamshire, England. The Taplow burial, a 7th century Anglo-Saxon burial mound, is in the grounds of the house, near the church.. This was excavated in 1883 and a number of treasures were discovered, unrivalled until the discovery of Sutton Hoo in 1939. There has been a manor house on the site since before the Norman Conquest in 1066.

Boulter's Lock
Boulter's Lock is a lock and weir on the River Thames in England on the eastern side of Maidenhead, Berkshire. A lock was first built here by the Thames Navigation Commission in 1772. The lock is on the western side of the river between the main (A4094) Maidenhead to Cookham road and Ray Mill Island. The name is also used for the immediate surrounding area. The weir is some way upstream of the lock, at the northern end of Ray Mill Island.

The station is served by local services operated by First Great Western (FGW) from Paddington, 22⁄2 miles (36 km) to the east, to Reading stations, using class 165, and class 166 DMU trains. The station is on the original line of the Great Western Railway (GWR).

Maidenhead Railway Bridge
Maidenhead Railway Bridge (aka Maidenhead Viaduct, The Sounding Arch) is a railway bridge carrying the main line of the Great Western Railway over the River Thames between Maidenhead, Berkshire and Taplow, Buckinghamshire, England. It crosses the Thames on the reach between Bray Lock and Boulter's Lock at the downstream end of Guards Club Island.
