Ulster American Folk Park

The Ulster American Folk Park is an open-air museum in Castletown, just outside Omagh, in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The Park explores the historical link between Ulster and America, focusing particularly on the lifestyle and experiences of those immigrants who sailed from Ulster to America in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is one of three national museums of Northern Ireland. Contained within the park are around thirty buildings — some recreations, some painstakingly-restored originals.

A5 road (Northern Ireland)

The A5 is a major primary route in Northern Ireland. It travels through County Londonderry and County Tyrone, commencing in the city of Derry, passing the large towns of Strabane and Omagh before it meets the N2 across the border in the Republic of Ireland towards the final destination of Dublin.

Gillygooly

Gillygooly is a small village and townland west of Omagh in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 72 people. It lies within the Omagh District Council area. The earliest reference to the townland of Gillygooly is the anglicisation Killagauland from c1655, which may be from Irish: Coill na Gualann, meaning "wood of the hill-shoulder".

Omagh St. Enda's GAC

Omagh St. Enda's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Their home ground is Healy Park which was opened in 1972. Omagh St. Enda's have won the Tyrone Senior Football Championship seven times, and are one of few clubs in the county to have won the competition three times in a row. They have won the Tyrone Senior Hurling Championship on three occasions as well. The club also has a proud history in the Scór.

Omagh College of Further Education

Omagh College of Further Education (often referred to as just Omagh College or "The Tech" by locals) is a college in Omagh, County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. The college is based in one central campus in the Town Centre (however up until recently it was three campuses spread out throughout the whole urban area). In 2007 it became part of the new South West College.
