Long Beach City College

Long Beach City College, established in 1927, is a community college located in Long Beach, California. It is divided into two campuses. The Liberal Arts Campus, known as LAC, is located in the residential community of the Lakewood Village section of Long Beach, on Carson Street west of Clark Avenue. The Pacific Coast Campus, known as PCC, is located in central Long Beach, near the city of Signal Hill, on Pacific Coast Highway east of Orange Avenue.

Veterans Memorial Stadium (also known as Veterans Stadium, Vets Stadium or simply The Vet) is a stadium located south of the Liberal Arts Campus of Long Beach City College in Long Beach, California. It is the home stadium to a number of local area high school football teams, as well as Long Beach City College's football team. It was also home to Long Beach State's football team until the program disbanded in 1991.

Silverado Park, Long Beach, California

Silverado Park is a city-operated park of 11.8 acres in the West-Side area of Long Beach, California. It was built in the 1930s under the auspices of the Works Progress Administration. It has been a fr although events such as a children's Christmas party have also taken place there. In 2005 the park was part of a study conducted by CSULB biologists on the behavior of house finches in heavily urbanized environments.

Signal Hill is a city (2.2 mi², 5.7 km²) in California located in the Greater Los Angeles area. Signal Hill, completely surrounded by the city of Long Beach, was incorporated on April 22, 1924, roughly three years after oil was discovered there. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 11,465. Signal Hill lies in the 562 area code. The city once shared three different postal ZIP codes with the city of Long Beach but in July 2002, the city of Signal Hill received its own ZIP code, 90755.
