Salt Creek (Salton Sea)

Not to be confused with Salt Creek (Arroyo Salado) or Salt Creek in Death Valley Salt Creek is a 26-mile-long intermittent stream in Riverside County, California, flowing into the Salton Sea at Salt Creek Beach on the northern shore. It is an important habitat of desert pupfish, containing a population of 159 fish.

North Shore Beach and Yacht Club

The North Shore Beach and Yacht Club or North Shore Yacht Club is an Albert Frey-designed building in North Shore, California. It opened in 1962 as part of a $2 million development along the northeastern shore of the Salton Sea which would become California's largest marina. Several prominent figures from the entertainment industry docked boats there, among them members of The Beach Boys, Jerry Lewis and The Marx Brothers.

Salton Sea

The Salton Sea is a shallow, saline, endorheic rift lake located directly on the San Andreas Fault, predominantly in California's Imperial and Coachella Valleys. The lake occupies the lowest elevations of the Salton Sink in the Colorado Desert of Imperial and Riverside counties in Southern California. Like Death Valley, it is below sea level. Currently, its surface is 226 ft below sea level. The deepest point of the sea is 5 ft higher than the lowest point of Death Valley.
