Pine Valley Creek Bridge

The Pine Valley Creek Bridge, also known as Nello Irwin Greer Memorial Bridge, is a reinforced concrete box girder bridge in San Diego County, California, built in 1974 as part of the Interstate 8 freeway system. At the time of its construction, it was the first bridge constructed in the United States using the segmental balanced cantilever method. The bridge rises 450 feet above the valley floor, and is over 1,700 feet long.

Mount Laguna Observatory

Mount Laguna Observatory (MLO) is an astronomical observatory owned by San Diego State University (SDSU) and operated in partnership with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). MLO is located approximately 75 kilometers east of downtown San Diego, California (USA) on the eastern edge of the Cleveland National Forest in the Laguna Mountains and near the hamlet of Mount Laguna.

Mount Laguna Air Force Station

Mount Laguna Air Force Station is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station. It is located 24.3 miles north-northeast of Tecate, California. It was closed in 1981 by the Air Force, and turned over to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Today the site is part of the Joint Surveillance System (JSS), designated by NORAD as Western Air Defense Sector (WADS) Ground Equipment Facility J-30.
