Tower on Fox Hill (also known locally as the War Memorial Tower) is a building located at the summit of Fox Hill in Rockville, Connecticut. The current tower, 72 feet (22 m) high, stand on the site of a former 60 foot (18 m) tower which stood briefly during the late 19th century.

Shenipsit Lake (or Snipsic lake; shin-ip-SIT), known locally as "The Snip", is a natural lake used as a water storage facility with a water size of 522.8 acres located in Tolland County, Connecticut, bordering the towns of Ellington, Tolland and the Rockville section of Vernon, Connecticut, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|53|4.7|N|72|25|34|W|region:US-CT_type:waterbody | |name= }}. It is the source of the Hockanum River.

New England Civil War Museum

The New England Civil War Museum was established in March 1994. It is located within the Memorial Building, inside a former Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Hall in Rockville, Connecticut. Thomas F. Burpee Post #71 of the Grand Army of the Republic held their monthly meetings in the Grand Hall from 1890 until 1929.

St. Joseph Parish, Rockville

St. Joseph Parish - originally designated for Polish immigrants in Rockville, Connecticut, United States. St. Joseph church has been a multi-ethnic parish since the 1950s under Fr. Hyacinth Lepak (1949–1975) now being a predominantly American parish community. (See "History" link at www. stjosephct. org for additional background). Founded in 1905, it is one of the Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England in the Diocese of Norwich.
