Samuels Field is a public use airport located two nautical miles (3.7 km) west of the central business district of Bardstown, a city in Nelson County, Kentucky, United States. This airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013, which categorized it as a general aviation facility. The airport is run by the Bardstown-Nelson County Air Board, which consists six members: half appointed by Bardstown and half by Nelson County.

Thomas Nelson High School

Thomas Nelson High School is a public high school located in an unincorporated area of Nelson County, Kentucky that has a Bardstown mailing address. Operated by the Nelson County School District and named after American Revolution figure Thomas Nelson, Jr. , it was opened in August 2012 to alleviate overcrowding at what had been the district's only regular high school, Nelson County High School.

Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral

The Basilica of Saint Joseph Proto-Cathedral is a Catholic parish church at 310 West Stephen Foster Avenue in Bardstown, Kentucky. Bardstown Historical Museum

The Bardstown Historical Museum is a museum of local history in Bardstown, Kentucky that is located in Spalding Hall, along with the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History. The exhibits at Bardstown Historical Museum include Native American and American Civil War clothing, weapons and artifacts, items from St. Joseph Preparatory School, Stephen Foster memorabilia, an exhibit about Trappist monks, and other local historic cultural items, documents and photographs.
