Lost River Cave

Lost River Cave is seven-mile cave system with a river running through it. It is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, an hour drive from Nashville, Tennessee and a two-hour drive from Louisville, Kentucky. Western Kentucky University shares the 68 acres of property with Lost River Cave. Visitors have been taking boat tours through certain portions of the cave since 1998. It is the only underground boat tour offered in Kentucky.

Houchens Industries–L. T. Smith Stadium at Jimmy Feix Field is a 22,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is home to the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers football team. The facility was expanded to a seating capacity of 22,000 in a project that was completed in 2008. This was planned to prepare for the Hilltoppers' move to the highest level of NCAA football competition, Division I FBS (formerly known as Division I-A), completed in 2009.

Western Kentucky University

Western Kentucky University (WKU) is a public university in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA. It was founded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1906, though its roots reach back a quarter-century earlier. WKU has a student body of over 21,000 students. Its main campus is in the midst of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of construction and renovation. Since 1997, dormitories have been renovated, new academic and athletic buildings have been finished, with more construction under way.
