Heath High School is a secondary school operated by the McCracken County Public Schools district in the rural community of West Paducah, unincorporated McCracken County, Kentucky, near the largest city in the state's far-western Purchase region, Paducah. Established in 1910, the school serves students in grades 9-12.

Jackson Purchase

The Jackson Purchase is a region in the state of Kentucky bounded by the Mississippi River to the west, the Ohio River to the north, and Tennessee River to the east. Although technically part of Kentucky at its statehood in 1792, the land did not come under definitive U.S. control until 1818, when Andrew Jackson and Isaac Shelby purchased it from the Chickasaw Indians. Kentuckians generally call this region the Purchase.

McCracken County High School

McCracken County High School is a public secondary school (grades 9–12) located west of Paducah, Kentucky and set to open in August 2013. Operated by the McCracken County Public Schools district, it will consolidate that district's three current high schools—Heath, Lone Oak, and Reidland. The school nickname will be Mustangs, and the school colors are crimson, black, and white. The enrollment is expected to be about 1,900.
