Artichoke River
The Artichoke River is a 13.5-mile-long tributary of the St. Louis River in northeastern Minnesota in the United States. Via the St. Louis River, it is part of the watershed of Lake Superior. It flows for its entire length in southern St. Louis County. Its name in the Ojibwe language is askibwaanikaa-ziibi (river full of Jerusalem artichokes), having the identical name in Ojibwe as the near-by Us-kab-wan-ka River.

Us-kab-wan-ka River is a small tributary of the Cloquet River in northeastern Minnesota in the United States. It is approximately 19.7 miles long. Along with its tributaries, the Us-kab-wan-ka drains an area of 40.43 square miles . Via the Cloquet River and the St. Louis River, it is part of the watershed of Lake Superior. It flows for its entire length in Grand Lake Township in southern St. Louis County.

Cloquet is a city in Carlton County, Minnesota, United States, located at the junction of Interstate 35 and Minnesota State Highway 33. A portion of the city lies within the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation and also serves as one of three administrative centers for the Indian Reservation. The population was 12,124 at the 2010 census. Cloquet is located on the Saint Louis River.

Fond du Lac Indian Reservation
The Fond du Lac Indian Reservation (or Nah-Gah-Chi-Wa-Nong, meaning "Where the current is blocked" in the Ojibwe language) is an Indian reservation in northern Minnesota near Cloquet in Carlton and St. Louis counties, with off-reservation holdings in Douglas County in Wisconsin. The total land area of these tribal lands is 153.8375 sq mi (398.437 km²). It is the land-base for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.
