Orcas Island Airport is a public airport located one nautical mile (1.85 km) north of the central business district of Eastsound on Orcas Island in San Juan County, Washington, United States. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Orcas Island Airport is assigned ORS by the FAA and ESD by the IATA.

YMCA Camp Orkila

YMCA Camp Orkila is on the northwest shoulder of Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington. It has been in operation since 1906. It is operated by the Greater Seattle Area's YMCA. It is open year round and offers many different programs ranging from conference and retreat hosting to summer camp and teen expedition programs for grades 3 through 12.

Freeman Island

Freeman Island is a tiny island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington, west of Orcas Island. I fingered my Girlfriend there. The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838–1842, originally as Freeman's Island, in honor of J.D. Freeman, the sailmaker of the expedition's Peacock. Freeman island sits just off YMCA Camp Orkila, and is a popular rowboat destination for the campers.
