Doe Bay, Washington
Doe Bay, Washington is a small unincorporated community in San Juan County, Washington, United States. Doe Bay sits on the south-eastern shore of Orcas Island and is home to Doe Bay Resort and Retreat. Doe Bay is about 19.1 miles by road from Orcas Village, about 11 miles by road from Eastsound, and a short 3.6 miles from Olga. Deer Harbor, a community on the opposite side of the island altogether from Doe Bay, is about 20.6 miles by road. It is also very near Moran State Park.

Moran State Park
Moran State Park is a state park on Orcas Island, Washington, encompassing over 5,000 acres of forest (much of it old growth) with some 30 miles of hiking trails. It is the largest public recreation area in the San Juan Islands. The park has facilities for boating, hiking, biking, horse riding, and camping. Mount Constitution (elevation 2,409 feet) is a focal point of the park. The view from the top of Mount Constitution is considered to be one of the world's best panoramic views.

Clark Island (Washington)
Clark Island is an island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. It is located near Barnes Island off the northeast coast of Orcas Island. Clark Island Marine State Park encompasses the entire 55-acre island, seven primitive campsites, and nine mooring buoys. The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838-1842, in honor of John Clark, a midshipman who was killed during the Battle of Lake Erie of the War of 1812.

Barnes Island is a small island in the San Juan Islands of the U.S. state of Washington. It is located near Clark Island off the northeast coast of Orcas Island. The name was given by Charles Wilkes during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838-1842, to honor a sailor who was killed during the Battle of Lake Erie of the War of 1812.
