Friday Harbor High School
Friday Harbor High School is a four-year public high school located in Friday Harbor, Washington, USA. It is the only public high school on San Juan Island. Fred Woods has been the school's principal since 2007. The previous principals have included Patricia Scott, Marilyn Luckman and Ralph Hahn. The school enrolls approximately 300 students annually. Brown Island is a small, private island in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, San Juan County, Washington, USA. It lies just offshore to the east-northeast of the town of Friday Harbor, Washington. The island has a land area of approximately 70 acres and a resident full-time population of 10 persons as of January 1, 2008. Brown Island was named by the Wilkes Expedition in 1841 for the party's navigational instrument repairman, John G. Brown.
