Xorazm Province

Xorazm Province or Khorezm Province as it is still more commonly known, is a viloyat (province) of Uzbekistan located in the northwest of the country in the lower reaches of the Amu-Darya River. Xazorasp District is a district of Xorazm Province in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at Xazorasp. The city named Pitnak was previously named Drujba (Do'stlik) until 2000. Drujba was a different district in the Khorezm region; now it is a part of the Xazorasp District.
