Takhar University
The Takhar University was originally established with the name Abdullah bin Msoud by Burhanuddin Rabbani, outside of Afghanistan. It officially registered within the Ministry of Education's registry in 1994. As of May 2010, the university had 1572 students (1406 male and 166 female) and 47 teachers (42 male and 5 female).
