Valchitran
Valchitran is a village in Pleven Province, central northern Bulgaria. Established by Thracians in 458, one of the most famous Thracian treasures in Bulgaria— the Valchitran treasure— was discovered by villagers while working on their farm. Valchitran has Nikita Khrushchev as an honorary citizen.
