Zagore
Zagore; also Zagorie, Zagora, Zagoria was a vaguely defined medieval region in Bulgaria. Its name is of Slavic origin and means "beyond [i.e. south of] the Balkan Balkan] mountains". The region was first mentioned as Ζαγορια in Medieval Greek (in an Old Bulgarian translation it was rendered as Загорїа) when it was ceded to the First Bulgarian Empire by the Byzantine Empire during the rule of Tervel of Bulgaria in the very beginning of the 8th century.

Stara Zagora Transmitter
The Stara Zagora Transmitter is a high power mediumwave broadcasting station near Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. It has at least 3 guyed masts. One of these masts is a Blaw-Knox Tower. The Battle of Beroia was fought between the Pechenegs and Emperor John II Komnenos (r. 1118–1143) of the Byzantine Empire in the year 1122 in what is now Bulgaria, and resulted in the disappearance of the Pecheneg people as an independent force.

Letnitsa (Bulgarian: Летница, also transliterated Letnitza, Letnica) is a town in central northern Bulgaria, part of Lovech Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Letnitsa Municipality and lies in the northeastern part of the province, close to the town of Levski. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 3,739 inhabitants.
