Nørre-Snede Municipality

Until 1 January 2007 Nørre-Snede was a municipality in the former Vejle County on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 254 km, and had a total population of 7,266 (2005). Its last mayor was Uffe Henneberg, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Nørre Snede.

Storå, Denmark

Storå ("Large Creek") or Storåen is Denmark's second longest creek, spanning 104 km, and only surpassed by Gudenå. Storå originates southeast of Ikast, winding its way between Herning, Sunds, and Ørre. Then it winds through Nybro, Hodsager and Holstebro before ending up in Nissum Fjord.
