Bølling lake
Bølling lake, is a shallow lake of central Jutland in Denmark, slightly west of Silkeborg, between Kragelund and Engesvang. The lake is geologically important because it has been at the edge of the Pleistocene glacier. In the 1870s the lake was drained to accommodate the peat industry, giving science a chance to examine its bogs and historians and prehistorians a chance to examine the artifacts and human remains. A late Pleistocene interstadial was named for the lake based on its evidence.

Kjellerup Municipality
Until 1 January 2007 Kjellerup municipality was a municipality in Aarhus County on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 255 km², and had a total population of 13,953 (2005). Its last mayor was Hans-Jørgen Hørning, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Kjellerup.

Tollund Man
The Tollund Man is the naturally mummified corpse of a man who lived during the 4th century BC, during the period characterised in Scandinavia as the Pre-Roman Iron Age. He was found in 1950 buried in a peat bog on the Jutland Peninsula in Denmark, which preserved his body. Such a find is known as a bog body. The head and face were so well-preserved that he was mistaken at the time of discovery for a recent murder victim.
