Brandsø
Brandsø is a small, uninhabited Danish island located in Little Belt between Jutland and Funen, 15 km to the north-west of Assens. It has an area of 2.0 km it lies in Middelfart Municipality and belongs to the Wedellsborg estate. The hilly island is formed by glacial morains and has a large bog at its centre and forested areas to the east. It is used for hunting. In the 1920s, Brandsø had a population of around 50 but was gradually depopulated and has been uninhabited since the late 1960s.

Skamlingsbanken
Skamlingsbanken is a large hill located in Vejstrup Parish, Jutland, Denmark between Kolding and Christiansfeld. With a peak rising to 113 metres above sea level, it is the highest point in Southern Jutland. The bank of the hill is 2 to 3 kilometres (to mi) long and was created during the ice age with clay pushed up the Little Belt Strait from a nearby glacier. Several major historic public meetings took place here during and after the disputes over the territory of Schleswig-Holstein.

Aarøsund
Aarøsund is a village in south-eastern Denmark situated in the region of Sønderjylland 15 kilometres east of Haderslev. It is also the name of the narrow strait between the village and the island of Årø. It has a population of 286 (1 January 2011) and is part of the municipality of Haderslev and the regional entity Region of Southern Denmark, as well as the parish of Øsby. In spite of its slight size, Aarøsund has a significant part in Danish history.
