Viimsi Stadium

Viimsi staadion is a football stadium in Haabneeme, Viimsi Parish, Estonia, just outside the capital Tallinn with the capacity of 2,000. The stadium was formerly used by a now-defunct Lantana Tallinn football club. The pitch size is 105 by 70 meters. As of 2007 the stadium is the home to the Tallinn Rugby Football Club and the temporary home of the Estonian National Rugby Union team via cooperation between the Estonian Rugby Union and Nord West Kinnisvara OÜ.

Viimsi Parish

Viimsi Parish is a rural municipality in northern Estonia, located north-east and neighbouring the capital Tallinn. It occupies an area of 72.84 km with a population of 16,901 which makes it the seventh largest municipality in Estonia and the most populous rural municipality (parish). The municipality contains the Viimsi Peninsula and several islands, including Naissaar, Prangli, and Aksi. The current mayor of Viimsi Parish is Haldo Oravas from the Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica.

Pirita

Pirita is one of the eight administrative districts of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It has a population of 16,636 (as of 1 Jan 2012). Pirita occupies a relatively big area, but compared to other districts of Tallinn its population of 16,636 (as of1 Jan 2012) is relatively small. It mostly consists of private houses, instead of the large blocks of flats typical of some other districts of Tallinn, such as Lasnamäe and Mustamäe.

Pirita Convent

Pirita Convent was a monastery, for both monks and nuns dedicated to St. Brigitta, in the district of Pirita in Tallinn, Estonia. The idea of founding the monastery dates to merchants of Tallinn of around 1400. In 1407, two monks from the Vadstena Abbey arrived to Tallinn to counsel the merchants. First permit to break dolomite to gather building material for building the complex was acquired in 1417. Several of the merchants who had originally proposed the monastery later became its monks.
