Renko

Renko is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Hämeenlinna on 2009-01-01. It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Tavastia Proper region. The municipality had a population of 2,378 (30 November 2008) and covered an area of 290.85 square kilometres of which 12.32 km is water. The population density is 8.54 inhabitants per square kilometre . The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

Tavastia Proper is a region (maakunta / landskap) of Finland. It borders to the regions Finland Proper, Pirkanmaa, Päijänne Tavastia, and Uusimaa. Hämeenlinna is the largest urban area in the region. There are two other municipalities that have township status: Riihimäki and Forssa.

Ritarihalli

Patria-areena (also names Ritarihalli, Rinkelinmäen jäähalli and Hämeenlinnan jäähalli are used) is an arena in Rinkelinmäki, Hämeenlinna, Finland. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and is the home arena of the SM-liiga team HPK. It opened in 1979 and renowated in 2008. It currently holds 5,360 people. The arena manager of the arena is Jorma Hassinen.

Ahvenisto Race Circuit

The Ahvenisto Race Circuit is a motorsport race track located in Hämeenlinna, Finland. The 3,040 metres long circuit is run clockwise. The track has an elevation change of 32 metres, the home straight is 280 metres and the width varies from 9 metres to 17 metres . The track's unofficial lap record, 1:10.000, is held by the 1982 Formula One World Champion Keke Rosberg. Rosberg drove the time as a show run with his Williams F1 FW08C in 1984.
