Hakunila

Hakunila, is a town located within eastern Vantaa, a city in southern Finland bordering Helsinki. It has a population of 10,936, and a population density of 3,645/km². To the west, it is bordered by Lahdenväylä, a constituent of European route E75, to the south, it is bordered by the Kehä III ring road, to the east by the towns of Ojanko and Sotunki, and to the north by the town of Itä-Hakkila.

Savio Rail Tunnel

The Savio Rail Tunnel near to the capital city of Helsinki, Finland connects the Vuosaari Harbour with the Helsinki–Tampere main line in Kerava. The tunnel is single track, electrified and 13.5 kilometres long. Construction begun in 2004, and the tunnel opened in November 2008. The tunnel is part of a new 19-kilometre line linking a new port.

Finnish Forest Research Institute

The Finnish Forest Research Institute, known as Metla, is a subordinate agency to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Government of Finland. It has statutory duties to promote, through research, the economical, ecological, and socially sustainable management and use of forests. Mellunmäki metro station

Mellunmäki or Mellungsbacka is a ground-level bridge station on the northern branch of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Mellunmäki in East Helsinki, and is the terminus of the northern branch. The station was opened on 1 September 1989, designed by the architect bureau Toivo Karhunen Oy. It is located 1.6 kilometres from the Kontula metro station. The terminus at the other end, Ruoholahti metro station, is 17 kilometres away.

Kontula metro station

Kontula or Gårdsbacka is a ground-level station on the northern branch of the Helsinki Metro. It serves the district of Kontula in East Helsinki. The station was opened on 21 October 1986, designed by the architect bureau Toivo Karhunen Oy. It is located 1.4 kilometres from the Myllypuro metro station, and 1.6 kilometres from the Mellunmäki metro station.
