Karkku railway station

The Karkku railway station is located in the village of Palviala in the town of Sastamala, Finland. The station is located about 43 kilometres from the Tampere railway station and about 92 kilometres from the Pori railway station. Nowadays, the station is unmanned, and the track is controlled remotely from Tampere.

Mouhijärvi

Mouhijärvi is a former municipality of Finland, located in the southwestern part of the country. It was an agricultural village since the 18th century. On 1 January 2009 Mouhijärvi was consolidated with the municipalities of Vammala and Äetsä, to form a new town named Sastamala.

Ellivuori

Ellivuori is a small Finnish tourist center, both during winters and summers. The success of Ellivuori is a good situation. It is located in the heart of pure nature, though in a central location between Sastamala (20 km) and Tampere (45 km) in the western part of Finland. (The Distance to Turku is about 135 km and to Helsinki 225 km.)

Rautavesi (Sastamala)

Rautavesi is a lake in Finland. It is located in the municipality of Sastamala in the Pirkanmaa region in western Finland. Its main inflow is the lake Kulovesi in the east and it drains into the lake Liekovesi trough the Vammaskoski rapids in the west. Lake Liekovesi, in its turn drains into the Kokemäenjoki river.

St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää

St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää is a late medieval stone church in Tyrvää, Sastamala, Finland. It was built approximately in 1510–1516 and burnt down by a pyromaniac in 1997. The church was rebuilt by local people and the interior paintings were created by painters Kuutti Lavonen and Osmo Rauhala. The reconstruction of the church is documented in the book St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää by Kuutti Lavonen, Osmo Rauhala, and Pirjo Silveri.
