Rautavesi is a lake in Finland. It is located in the municipality of Sastamala in the Pirkanmaa region in western Finland. Its main inflow is the lake Kulovesi in the east and it drains into the lake Liekovesi trough the Vammaskoski rapids in the west. Lake Liekovesi, in its turn drains into the Kokemäenjoki river.

St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää
St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää is a late medieval stone church in Tyrvää, Sastamala, Finland. It was built approximately in 1510–1516 and burnt down by a pyromaniac in 1997. The church was rebuilt by local people and the interior paintings were created by painters Kuutti Lavonen and Osmo Rauhala. The reconstruction of the church is documented in the book St. Olaf's Church in Tyrvää by Kuutti Lavonen, Osmo Rauhala, and Pirjo Silveri.

Karkku railway station
The Karkku railway station is located in the village of Palviala in the town of Sastamala, Finland. The station is located about 43 kilometres from the Tampere railway station and about 92 kilometres from the Pori railway station. Nowadays, the station is unmanned, and the track is controlled remotely from Tampere.

Kulovesi
Kulovesi is a lake in Finland. It is situated in the area of the towns Nokia and Sastamala in the Pirkanmaa region. The lake is part of the Kokemäenjoki basin. The lake Pyhäjärvi drains through the Nokianvirta River into the Lake Kulovesi from the west and the lake Kyrösjärvi through a chain of lakes and the Siuronkoski rapids from the north. The lake gathers waters from an area of 20 822 km² that includes the whole upper part of the Kokemäenjoki basin.
