Kankareenjärvi
Kankareenjärvi is a small lake in Finland. It is situated in Salo in the region of Finland Proper in the area of the former municipality of Halikko. Purilanjoki, a minor river that discharges into the Archipelago Sea, originates from the lake. Kankareenjärvi is the only lake of Halikko. A pine forest surrounds the lake. The shores of the Kankareenjärvi are partly bog, especially in the north side of the lake. There are many summer cottages and a public beach at the lake.

Kevola Observatory
The Kevola Observatory is located in Kevola in Paimio in South-Western Finland, some 35 km east from the city of Turku. The observatory is currently owned by Turun Ursa ry, a local astronomical association operating in Turku area. The buildings of the observatory include an observatory dome, a zenith observatory, and a house for recording observations. Kevola Observatory is listed in the IAU list of observatory codes with code 64.

Paimio Sanatorium
Paimio Sanatorium is a former tuberculosis sanatorium in Paimio, Finland Proper, designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. The building was completed in 1932, and soon after received critical acclaim both in Finland and abroad. The building served exclusively as a tuberculosis sanatorium until the early 1960s, when it was converted into a general hospital. Today the building is part of the Turku University Hospital. The sanatorium was nominated to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Halikko
Halikko is a former municipality of Finland that existed until December 31, 2008. On January 1, 2009 the municipality was merged with the larger neighboring Salo. Before the merge Halikko had become a rapidly urbanizing rural area. It was located in the province of Western Finland and was part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality had a population of 9,491 (2004-12-31) and covered an area of 357.31 km² (excluding sea) of which 0.52 km² was inland water.
