Ideapark

Ideapark is a shopping mall in Lempäälä, Finland. It is notable for being very large by Nordic standards. The mall was built on a greenfield site alongside the Helsinki–Tampere motorway approximately twelve kilometres south of Tampere. It was opened for business on December 1, 2006. The mall has a total floor space of 104,000 square metres, of which 91,712 square metres are the gross leasable area.

Pyhäjärvi (Tampere region)

Pyhäjärvi is a lake in southern Finland. Although the name means in modern Finnish "holy lake", it probably meant originally "border lake". Pyhäjärvi is shaped like the letter "C" with the cities of Tampere and Nokia on the northern end, and town of Lempäälä at the southern end. The lake is fed by the water running through the Tammerkoski rapids in the center of Tampere in the north, and by the waters from lake Vanajavesi in the south.

Pyynikin kesäteatteri

Pyynikin Kesäteatteri (Pyynikki Summer Theatre) is an open-air theatre operating in Tampere, Finland, known especially for its revolving auditorium. It is one of the largest summer theatres in Finland and has been running uninterrupted longer than any other open-air theatre in the country. The theatre was founded in 1948 and was originally named Tampereen Kesäteatteri (Tampere Summer Theatre).

Sauna Open Air Metal Festival

Sauna Open Air Metal Festival, shortly Sauna Open Air or just Sauna, has become one of the largest music festivals dedicated only to metal and related styles of music in the Nordic countries. It was first arranged in 2004 and takes place in the Ratinanniemi park in Tampere, Finland. On June 8–10 in 2006, over 20,000 metalheads arrived to watch such bands as Cradle of Filth, Finntroll, Iggy & The Stooges, Lordi, Twisted Sister and W.A.S.P..

Tampere Stadium

Tampere Ratina Stadium (Finnish: Tampereen stadionilla Ratinassa), simply known as Tampere Stadium or Ratina Stadium, built in 1965, is a multi-purpose stadium in Tampere, Finland, with a seating capacity of 16,800 people, and up to 32,000 people for concerts. The stadium primarily hosts football matches. It served as Tampere United's home stadium and is sometimes used by the Finnish national team.
