Zeven DECCA-transmitter

Zeven DECCA-transmitter was a transmitting facility for DECCA transmission at Zeven, in Germany. It used as antenna a 93 metre tall guyed mast, which is insulated against ground. As backup antenna a mast radiator also insulated against ground with a height of 46 metres was in its proximity. The DECCA transmitter Zeven belonged from 1952 until 1992 to the German DECCA chain, which consisted of the transmitters Brilon, Stadtkyll and Coburg-Lautertal.

Otterstedt

Otterstedt is a village in the district of Verden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is part of the municipality Ottersberg. It is notable for the nearby lake Otterstedter See, which is a local resort. It was formed around 12000 years ago at the retreat of the glacial ice . It has an area of 4.5 ha, and a maximum depth of 11 m.
