Stalag X-B
Stalag X-B was a World War II German Prisoner-of-war camp located near Sandbostel in north-western Germany. Sandbostel lies 9 km south of Bremervörde, 43 km northeast of Bremen. Placed on swampy ground,with a damp, cold climate, it is one of the most notorious prisoner-of-war camps. Between 1939 and 1945 1 million POWs of 46 nations passed through. Nearly 50,000 died there of hunger, disease, or were just simply murdered.

Bremervörde station
Bremervörde is a railway station in northwestern Germany. It is owned and operated by EVB, with regular trains on the line between Bremerhaven and Hamburg-Neugraben. Geestequelle
Geestequelle is a Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Rotenburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated west of Bremervörde, and approx. 50 km northeast of Bremen. It is named after the source of the small river Geeste. Its seat is in Oerel. The Samtgemeinde Geestequelle consists of the following municipalities: Alfstedt Basdahl Ebersdorf Hipstedt

Wesermünde Geest
The Wesermünde Geest is the collective name for several geest ridges in the west of Cuxhaven district and Bremen-Nord in Germany. The ridges are separated from one another by wetlands. These terminal moraines were formed during the Saale glaciation, are up to between 10 and 70 metres above sea level (NN), and are covered by scattered woods and farmland. The wetland areas, between 0 and 5 metres above sea level, are predominantly used for grazing.
