Pahlen

von der Pahlen is a noble Russian, Lithuanian and Swedish family of Baltic German origin. The family probably originated from Pomerania but in the beginning of 15th century moved to Livonia. First historical account of this family dates to 1290 when Johannes de Pala was Vogt at Turaida. On 18 September 1679 Charles XI of Sweden gave the baronial rank to five brothers of the family and all their descendants.

Stapelholm

Stapelholm was an Amt ("collective municipality") in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It was situated on the north bank of the river Eider, approx. 25 km southwest of Schleswig. The seat of the Amt was in Norderstapel. In January 2008, it was merged with the Amt Kropp to form the Amt Kropp-Stapelholm. The Amt Stapelholm consisted of the following municipalities: Bergenhusen Erfde Meggerdorf Norderstapel Süderstapel Tielen

Burg-Sankt Michaelisdonn

Burg-Sankt Michaelisdonn is an Amt ("collective municipality") in the district of Dithmarschen, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Its seat is in Burg. It was formed on 1 January 2008 from the former Ämter Burg-Süderhastedt and Eddelak-Sankt Michaelisdonn. The Amt Burg-Sankt Michaelisdonn consists of the following municipalities (with population in 2005): Averlak (640) Brickeln (212) Buchholz (1.115) Burg Dith.

Eider is an Amt ("collective municipality") in the district of Dithmarschen, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Its seat is in Hennstedt. It was formed on 1 January 2008 from the former Ämter Hennstedt, Lunden and Tellingstedt. The Amt is named after the Eider River. Burg-Süderhastedt

Burg-Süderhastedt was an Amt Kirchspielslandgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Dithmarschen, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It was situated near the Kiel Canal, approx. 25 km southeast of Heide, and 20 km northwest of Itzehoe. Its seat was in Burg. In January 2008, it was merged with the Amt Eddelak-Sankt Michaelisdonn to form the Amt Burg-Sankt Michaelisdonn.
