Ring of Kerry

The Ring of Kerry is a tourist trail in County Kerry, south-western Ireland. The route covers the 179 km circular road, starting from Killarney, heading around the Iveragh Peninsula and passing through Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen and Killorglin. Lough Yganavan and Lough Nambrackdarrig

Lough Yganavan and Lough Nambrackdarrig are two lakes of ecological importance in County Kerry, Ireland. They are included in a Special Area of Conservation of 271.57 ha, which protects land in private ownership and state-owned nature reserve. The habitats include fixed dunes, a type of machair. Lough Nambrackdarrig and the southern half of Lough Yganavan were designated as National Nature Reserves in 1988 .
