Central District (Israel)

The Central District of Israel is one of six administrative districts, including most of the Sharon region. The district capital is Ramla. It is further divided into 4 sub-districts: Petah Tikva, Ramla, Sharon and Rehovot. The district's largest city is Rishon LeZion. Its population as of 2008 was 1,730,500.

Sitria

Sitria is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah near Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gezer Regional Council. In 2007 it had a population of 999. The moshav was founded on Lag BaOmer in 1949 by 95 families from Poland and Rumania who had been interned in a detention camp in Cyprus. Before 1948, the Sitriya (السطرية) Bedouin tribe lived in the area. According to Walid Khalidi, the moshav is built on the lands of Abu al-Fadl, a village depopulated in 1948.

Ramla Railway Station

Ramla Railway Station is a railway station in Ramla, Israel, on the Tel Aviv – Jerusalem line. The station is located in the east of Ramla. The station is also on a section shared with the Be'er Sheva - Tel Aviv line, which branches out in a southerly direction about 3 km east of Ramla.

De Shalit High School

De Shalit High School is a high school and two sister junior high schools located in the city Rehovot, in Israel. It is named after the physicist Amos de-Shalit (1926–1969). The school has around 2000 students. The pupils in the high school may choose two major subjects out of the following: chemistry, biology, physics, computer science, economics, psychology, geography, Bible, history, literature, music, drama, art, French, Arabic and Sport.

Route 431 (Israel)

Route 431, is a suburban freeway in the south of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area in Israel. The freeway connects the Ayalon Highway in the west with Highway 1 in the east. It then continues east into Modi'in as a local road. The freeway has six lanes (three in each direction) over a total length of 21 km. There is also a short Collector/Distributor system between Rishon Darom and Nes Ziona Interchanges. There are 12 interchanges along its length, 5 of them freeway to freeway interchanges.
