The Central District of Israel is one of six administrative districts, including most of the Sharon region. The district capital is Ramla. It is further divided into 4 sub-districts: Petah Tikva, Ramla, Sharon and Rehovot. The district's largest city is Rishon LeZion. Its population as of 2008 was 1,730,500.

Ramla Railway Station is a railway station in Ramla, Israel, on the Tel Aviv – Jerusalem line. The station is located in the east of Ramla. The station is also on a section shared with the Be'er Sheva - Tel Aviv line, which branches out in a southerly direction about 3 km east of Ramla.

Ramleh Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery

Ramleh Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery and Memorial to the Missing is for personnel of both World Wars, and the period of the British mandate of Palestine located in the town of Ramla (Ramla, Ramleh) in Israel. The cemetery grounds were assigned to the United Kingdom in perpetuity by the municipality of Ramla in recognition of the sacrifices made by the British Empire in the defence and liberation of Palestine during the war.

Yashresh

Yashresh is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah around three kilometres south of Ramle and covering roughly 500 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gezer Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 770. The moshav was founded in 1950 by immigrants from Morocco. Like neighbouring Yatzitz, its name is taken from Isaiah 27:6; In days to come shall Jacob take root, Israel shall blossom and bud; and the face of the world shall be filled with fruitage.

Route 431 (Israel)

Route 431, is a suburban freeway in the south of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area in Israel. The freeway connects the Ayalon Highway in the west with Highway 1 in the east. It then continues east into Modi'in as a local road. The freeway has six lanes (three in each direction) over a total length of 21 km. There is also a short Collector/Distributor system between Rishon Darom and Nes Ziona Interchanges. There are 12 interchanges along its length, 5 of them freeway to freeway interchanges.
