Bkeftine

Bkeftine is a Greek Orthodox with some Maronites village in Koura District of Lebanon. It is 180 metres above sea level, and has an area of 0.99 square miles. In 2004 there were 941 residents, of whom 602 were registered voters but just 380 actually voted in the municipal elections.

Zgharta

Zgharta, or Zghorta is a large town in North Lebanon, with an estimated population of around 70,000. Zgharta is about 150 metres above sea level and lies between the rivers of Jouit and Rashein. It is 23 kilometres from Ehden, 7 kilometres from the coastal city of Tripoli, 91 kilometres from the capital of Lebanon, Beirut, and 82 kilometres from the nearest Syrian city, Tartous. Its history and people are closely associated with the village of Ehden.

Ardeh

Ardeh is a village in Zgharta District, in the Northern Governorate of Lebanon. Ardeh (also known pre Christian as Ardata). It is an ancient and historic town that was known during the 14th century B.C. as "Ardata". The "Tal" (hill) of Ardeh is an artificial one enfolding ruins of ancient edifices. During the 1970s the Lebanese Directorate of Archeology started archeological diggings in Ardeh and discovered important artifacts.

Tripoli, Lebanon

Tripoli is the largest city in northern Lebanon and the second-largest city in the country. Situated 85 km north of the capital Beirut, it is the capital of the North Governorate and the Tripoli District. Tripoli overlooks the eastern Mediterranean Sea, and it is the easternmost seaport in Lebanon. It holds offshore a string of four small islands, the only surviving islands of Lebanon.

American University of Technology

American University of Technology (AUT), is a private university established in Lebanon. It was founded in 1998 by Ghada Hinain near Byblos. The university is directed by an appointed Board of Trustees. AUT's mission is to provide non-sectarian American higher education opportunities to qualified students from rural villages and towns between Beirut and Tripoli, and they have distinguished and proved themselves among other Lebanese students.
