Mangles River
The Mangles River is in the South Island of New Zealand. It feeds into the Buller River near the town of Murchison. The river is popular destination for kayaking.

Matiri River
The Matiri River is a river located in the northwest of New Zealand's South Island. It runs south for 30 kilometres from its headwaters west of Mount Owen in Kahurangi National Park to its confluence with the Buller River just below the town of Murchison. Halfway along its length, it passes through Lake Matiri. Downstream from Lake Matiri the banks of the river has mixed livestock farming and some small scale forestry.

The Owen River is located in the northwest of New Zealand's South Island. This short river is an upper tributary of the Buller River. It flows south for 20 kilometres from its headwaters on the slopes of Mount Owen, flowing into the Buller at the small settlement of Owen River 18 kilometres northeast of Murchison.
