Vladimirescu is a commune in Arad County, Romania, is situated in the south-eastern part of the Aradului Plateau. Its territory stretches over 12400 ha. It is composed of four villages: Cicir (Maroscsicsér), Horia (formerly Pănadu Nou; Újpanád; Neupanat), Mândruloc (Mondorlak) and Vladimirescu (situated at 8 km from Arad).

Fortress of Arad

The Fortress of Arad is a fortification system built in the city of Arad, on the left bank of the Mureş River in the 18th century at the direct order of the Habsburg Empress Maria Theresa. The fortress lies today in the Subcetate neighbourdhood of the city, on the former military border between the Habsburg Empire and the Ottoman Empire.

Arad Central Railway Station

Arad Central Railway Station (Romanian: Gara Centrală din Arad) is the largest railway station in the city of Arad and the largest in the Arad County. It is the second largest railway station in the western region of Romania, immediately after Timișoara Nord railway station. The main building was designed by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff, when Arad was part of Hungary prior to joining Romania in 1918.
