Boghicea

Boghicea is a commune in Neamţ County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Boghicea, Căuşeni, Nistria and Slobozia. Boghicea village was founded by a monk named Boghiţă who had a small hermitage in the forest and sheltered other citizens. In 1784, Gheorghe Stroescu and his wife Adela began construction on a stone and brick church on their estate with their own finances. The village was the site of a 1944 tank battle where the Romanians led by Lt. Ion S.

Ion Neculce is a commune in Iaşi County, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Buznea, Dădeşti, Găneşti, Ion Neculce, Prigoreni and Războieni. These belonged to Târgu Frumos town until 2004, when they were split off to form a separate commune.

Strunga

Strunga is a commune in Iaşi County, Romania. It is situated 55 km from Iaşi city. It is composed of eight villages: Brătuleşti, Criveşti, Cucova, Fărcăşeni, Fedeleşeni, Gura Văii, Hăbăşeşti and Strunga. At the 2002 census, 100% of inhabitants were ethnic Romanians. 55.3% were Romanian Orthodox, 43.8% Roman Catholic and 0.6% Seventh-day Adventist. Today Strunga is a resort of local interest. Its mineral waters can be used in the treatment of many diseases.
