Yuri Gagarin

Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin (9 March 1934 – 27 March 1968) was a Soviet pilot and cosmonaut. He was the first human to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on 12 April 1961. Pokrov, Vladimir Oblast

Pokrov is a town in Petushinsky District of Vladimir Oblast, Russia, located 5 kilometers to the north of the left bank of the Klyazma River, 82 kilometers west of Vladimir. Population: 17,756; 15,920; 15,988; 2,925 (1897). It was established in the 17th century as a monastery village and was granted town status in 1778. Pokrov has favorable economic and geographical position between the major regional centers of the European part of Russia.

Drezna
