Belianska Cave

Belianska Cave is a stalactite cave in the Slovak part of the Tatra mountains, the largest and the only one open to the public in the Tatras. It is located above the settlement of Tatranská Kotlina, which is a part of the town of Vysoké Tatry. The cave was discovered in the 18th century, although it is presumed that it was used by pre-historic people. The cave was opened in 1884 and electrically lit in 1896. Entrance to the cave is located at an altitude of 890 metres.

Kežmarok District

Kežmarok District is a district in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia. It is situated in the western part Prešov Region. Kežmarok district borders Stará Ľubovňa District, Levoča District, Poprad District, Sabinov District and Poland. It lies mainly on a foothills of High Tatras. Kežmarok district was established in 1923 and in its present borders exist from 1996. It belongs to the smaller Slovak districts with lower population density.

Wooden articular church in Kežmarok

The Wooden articular church in Kežmarok (Slovak: Drevený artikulárny kostol v Kežmarku) is a wooden church in Kežmarok, Slovakia. The local Lutherans built it during a period of religious persecution, when they were allowed to erect only wooden churches. That is why even nails were made exclusively of wood. The construction was financially supported by Protestants from various countries, including Sweden and Denmark.

Tatranská Lomnica

Tatranská Lomnica is a town in the Slovakian part of the High Tatras mountains. It is a skiing and hiking resort best known for the cable car to Lomnický štít, one of the steepest in Europe and remarkable for its lack of support pylons between the two stations . Tatranská Lomnica railway station is one endpoint of the Tatra Electric Railway, which connects the town to Starý Smokovec.

Tatranská Lomnica railway station

Tatranská Lomnica railway station (Slovak: Železničná stanica Tatranská Lomnica) is a break-of-gauge junction station in the High Tatras. It serves the settlement of Tatranská Lomnica, in the Prešov Region, northeastern Slovakia. Opened in 1895, the station is the eastern terminus of the Starý Smokovec—Tatranská Lomnica branch line operated by the metre gauge Tatra Electric Railway (TEŽ).
