Mijas

Mijas is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia located on the southwestern coast of Spain. Mijas belongs to the comarca of Costa del Sol Occidental. Its center is a typical Andalusian white-washed village located on a mountain side about 450 m, or 1,476 ft. , above sea level, in the heart of the Costa del Sol region.

Almogía

Almogía is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is situated approximately 25 km from the city of Málaga, has a population of approximately 4,300 residents and has an economy based on the cultivation of almonds and olives. Positioned within the Montes de Málaga hills, the municipality's highest point is Santi Petri (794m).

Benalmádena Stupa

Benalmádena Stupa is a stupa in Benalmádena, Málaga in the Andalusian region of southern Spain, overlooking the Costa del Sol. It is 33 metres high and is the largest stupa in Europe. It was inaugurated on the 5th October 2003, and was the final project of Buddhist master Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche. In Buddhism, a stupa is a monument which represents peace, prosperity and harmony, as well as being a place for meditation.
