Sucina

Sucina is a village in Murcia six to eight kilometres from San Javier and near the airport. New houses and resorts are under construction and will remain so for at least another five years. The centre consists of a church called ‘Nuestra Señora del Rosario’ and has recently experienced some physical renovation, due to its age. On one side of the church is a bank, whilst on the other side, a restaurant.

Murcia-San Javier Airport is a military air base and civilian passenger airport located in San Javier, 17 miles south-east of Murcia, Spain. It is operated by Aena (Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea, or Spanish Airports and Aerial Navigation), the Spanish airport authority.

Mar Menor

Mar Menor ("Minor sea") is a salty lagoon, in the south-east of the autonomous community of Murcia, in Spain, separated from the Mediterranean sea by La Manga, a sandbar 22km in length and with a width ranging from 100 to 1200 m. It belongs to four municipalities: Cartagena, Los Alcázares, San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar.

Los Alcázares

Los Alcázares - pronounced Los Al-Katha-Res is a small, but expanding coastal spa town and former fishing village on the Western side of the Mar Menor in the autonomous community and province of Murcia, southeastern Spain. The Mar Menor (little sea in Spanish) belongs to three other municipalities: San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena and is Europe's largest salt water lagoon.
