Anti-Lebanon mountains
The Anti-Lebanon mountains is the Western name for the Eastern Lebanon Mountain Range, which are a southwest-northeast-trending mountain range that form the majority of the border between Syria and Lebanon. The border is largely defined along the crest of the range. The majority of the mountain range lies in Syria. Its Western name (Anti-Lebanon) comes from the Greek Anti-Libanus, in which the prefix "anti" means ‘opposite’.

Yabrud
Yabrud is a city in Syria, located in the Rif Dimashq (Damascus suburb) governorate about 80 km north of the capital Damascus. The city is known for its ancient caves, most notably the Iskafta cave (where, in 1930, a thirty-year old German traveller and would-be archeologist Alfred Rust made many important pre-historical findings), and the Yabrud temple, which was once Jupiter Yabroudis 's temple but later became "Konstantin and Helena Cathedral". Yabrud is home of the oldest church in Syria.

An-Nabk
An Nabk or Al-Nabk is a Syrian city administratively belonging to Rif Dimashq and the capital of the Qalamoun. Located 81 kilometers north of Damascus and south of Homs. It has an altitude of 1255 meters. It has a population of 52,502 as of 2007, making it the 35th largest city per geographical entity in Syria. The Monastery of Saint Moses the Abyssinian (Deir Mar Musa al-Habashi) is located along the Anti-Lebanon Mountains near Nabk and dates back to at least the 6th century.

An-Nabk District is a district of the Rif Dimashq Governorate in Syria. At the 2004 officical census, the district had a population of 80,001. The centre of the district is the city of An-Nabk. The area of the district is also known as Qalamoun, Qalamun, Qalamūn, Kalamon and Kalamoun.
