Tajik Aluminium Company
The Tajik Aluminium Company (Tajik: Ширкати Алюминийи Тоҷик; Russian: Таджикская алюминиевая компания), abbreviated as TALCO headquartered in Tursunzoda, Tajikistan, runs the largest aluminum manufacturing plant in Central Asia, and is Tajikistan's chief industrial asset. The country has no native aluminum ore, so the raw material for the plant has to be imported. Construction of the plant proper began in 1972, and the first pouring of aluminum took place on 31 March 1975.

Khalchayan
Khalchayan (also Khaltchaïan) is an archaeological site, thought to be a small palace or a reception hall, located near the modern town of Denov in Surxondaryo Province of southern Uzbekistan. It is located in the valley of the Surkhan Darya, a northern tributary of the Oxus. The site is usually attributed to the early Kushans, or their ancestors the Yuezhi. It was excavated by Galina Pugachenkova between 1959 and 1963.
