Nilüfer River

The Nilufer or Niloufer River is a river in Turkey. From its source near the Uludağ and flowing past Bursa, the river tends to the northwest along its course of 203 km. The Nilufer was the classical Odrysses. Its plain was known as Mygdonia and formed the Persian satrapy of Dascylium. It formerly flowed into the Rhyndacus but now joins the Simav north of Karacabey. In Turkish, nilüfer means "water lily.

Lake Uluabat

Lake Uluabat (Turkish: Uluabat Gölü and Apolyont Gölü) is the name of a freshwater lake in the vicinity of Bursa, Turkey. It is a large lake, covering an area of between 135 and 160 km² depending on the water level, but very shallow, being only 3 m deep at its deepest point. The lake contains eight islands and one other that is sometimes an island and sometimes a peninsula. The largest island is known as Halilbey Island.

Constantine's Bridge (Mysia)

The Constantine's Bridge was a late antique bridge in Mysia, modern-day Turkey. The structure, built after 258 AD, crossed the river Rhyndacus (modern Adırnas Çayı) at Uluabat (Lopadium). It was crowned in Byzantine times by a chapel dedicated by Saint Helena to emperor Constantine I (r. 324-337 AD).

Ayvaini Cave

The Ayvaini Cave is a cave located inside the borders of the Ayva village of Bursa, Turkey. Except for the entrance section, the cave is horizontally developed. There are two entrances to the cave; one at Doğanalanı, the other at Ayvaköy. Entering the cave from one point and leaving the cave from another is possible. At the Doğanalanı entrance of the cave, there is a vertical downward descent of 17 meters.
