ÇNAEM

The Çekmece Nuclear Research and Training Center (Turkish: Çekmece Nükleer Araştırma ve Eğitim Merkezi), known as ÇNAEM, is the primary nuclear research and training center of Turkey. The organization was established on March 6, 1958 as a subunit of Turkish Atomic Energy Administration (Turkish: Türkiye Atom Enerjisi Kurumu, TAEK) at Küçükçekmece district in the west of Istanbul. The organization's name was coined on August 12, 1960 in conjunction with its location.

Galatasaray Rowing

Galatasaray Rowing Team is the men's and women's rowing section of Galatasaray S.K. , a major sports club in Istanbul, Turkey. İhsan Emre Vural and his teammate Ahmet Yumrukaya became the first world-champions in the history of Turkey when they got first place in the 2004 Under 23 World Championships held in Poznań, Poland. In 2012, Galatasaray Rowing Team won Turkish Rowing Championship Cup.

Atirus Shopping Center

Atirus Shopping Center, opened on December 17, 2005, is a modern shopping mall located in the suburban district of Büyükçekmece in Istanbul, Turkey. It is named after the location, which was called Atirus in the ancient times. Constructed by Kapıcıoğlu Company, the earthquake-proof building cost $40 million. It is situated on the busy highway D-100, which runs from Istanbul westwards through Büyükçekmece.
