Hüyük, also Höyük (Turkish: höyük, "tumulus, burial mound"), is a town and district of Konya Province in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. According to 2000 census, population of the district is 52,110 of which 8,472 live in the town of Hüyük.

Eflatun Pınar

Eflatun Pınar (Turkish: Eflatunpınar, "lilac-colored spring") is the name given to a spring which rises up from the ground, creating an oasis and fountain. The spring lies 80 miles west of Konya, and drains into Lake Beyşehir in Anatolian peninsula at ancient Pisidia region. In ancient times a small temple was built here to honor one of the ancient Hittite gods, later interpreted as a shrine to Plato.

Lake Beyşehir

Lake Beyşehir is a large freshwater lake in Isparta and Konya provinces, southwestern part of Turkey. It is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:37|47|0|N|31|33|0|E|region:TR_type:waterbody | |name= }}. It has an area of 650.00 km² and is 45 km long and 20 km wide. It carries the same name as the principal urban centre of its region, Beyşehir. The water level in the lake often fluctuates by year and by season.
