Sniatyn
For the eponymous town in Russia, see Ksnyatin Sniatyn is a city located in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, in western Ukraine along the Prut river. It is the administrative center of the Sniatynsky Raion, and is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:48|27|0|N|25|34|0|E| |primary |name= }}. The current estimated population is around 10,500 (as of 2001). In the interbellum period, it was a rail border crossing between Poland and Romania.

The Cheremosh River is a river in western Ukraine, tributary of the Prut River. It flows along the borderline of the historic regions of Bukovina and Galicia. Kitsman
Kitsman is a city located in the Chernivtsi Oblast of western Ukraine. The town is about 20 km northwest from Chernivtsi on the road to Zalishchyky. The first historical mention of Kitsman is dated to 1413, which also appears on the city's crest.
