Krasno-Oskol Reservoir

Krasno-Oskol Reservoir (Ukrainian: Червоноскільське водосховище; Russian: Краснооскольское водохранилище, sometimes translated as Chervonooskil -, Krasnooskol'skoye - or Krasno-Oskol'skoe -) is an artificial lake on Oskol River in Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. The reservoir was opened in year 1958. Its area is 130 km², maximal length 125 km, maximal width 4 km, average depth is 4 m and about the volume 474 hm³.

Sviatohirsk

Sviatohirsk or Svyatogorsk (Святого́рск) is a small city in Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine. The population is 5,136 (2001). Before 2003, the city was known as Slovianohirsk or Slavyanogorsk (Славяного́рск), and before 1964 it was known as Bannovsky (Ба́нновский) or Bannovskoe (Ба́нновское), so called for the medicinal baths constructed near the Svyatogorsky monastery in the nineteenth century; the current name is derived from the monastery itself.

Sviatohirsk Lavra

The Sviatohirsk Lavra or the Sviatohirsk Cave Monastery (Ukrainian: Свято-Успенська Святогірська Лавра) is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery near the city of Sviatohirsk in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine. The lavra is located on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River. The name comes from the hill on which it sits—Sviatohirsk or Holy Hill.
