Pervomaiskyi

Pervomaiskyi is a city in Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine also known by its nickname Likhachova. Population is 32,523 (2001) and 41,352 (Current figures by the city administration). This makes Pervomaikyi the fourth largest city in Kharkiv Oblast. The city is also known for its popular Khimprom which was one of the biggest chemical factories in the former USSR. The city is situated about 100 km south east from the district center and on the main rail road "Pivdenna Zaliznitsa".

Kachanivska penal colony

Kachanivska penal colony, is a prison of minimal level security with general conditions for detention of women located in the East-Ukrainian city of Kharkiv for the detention of women who were sentenced for the first time because of a negligence or crimes of low or moderate severity. The inmates live in barracks designed for 8 to 12 women.
