Bernardine Monastery, Iziaslav

The church of St. Michael and Bernardine monastery is the beautiful piece of baroque sacral architecture in town of Iziaslav, Ukraine. Formerly it was a Roman Catholic monastery complex grounded in the early 17th century. Nowadays, it is prison Zamkova Correctional Colony no. 58. On the place of present monastery there once was an Orthodox monastery of the Holy Trinity with the icon of Zaslav Madonna.

Slavuta

Slavuta is a city of oblast subordinance in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast of western Ukraine, located on the Horyn River. Serving as the administrative center of the Slavutskyi Raion, the city itself is also designated as a separate raion within the oblast, and is located approximately 80 km from the oblast capital, Khmelnytskyi, at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:50|18|N|26|52|E||| | |name= }}. The city's population is 35,442 (Jan. 1, 2011).

National University Ostroh Academy

National University "Ostroh Academy" is a Ukrainian self-governed (autonomous) research university that was opened in 1994 by the Presidential Decree of April 12, 1994. The university considers itself a continuation of the historical Ostroh Academy. The school occupies the buildings of the former Rococo Capuchin monastery (built in 1779). Since October 2000 the university carries a title of National. It is one of the 14 research universities in Ukraine since July 2009.
